Monitoring of Pictorial Health Warnings:
Rajasthan VHA has launched
RTI campaign under PAT & APPLE Project. Total of 108 RTI applications were

After the implementation pack warning rule on 31st May, 2009 Rajasthan
Voluntary Health Association took the stock of the situation by collecting
tobacco samples from all corners of Jaipur city. Total of 26 tobacco
products including bidi and gutka sachets were collected and It was found
that gutka companies are violating the apex court ruling by giving pack
warnings smaller in size, bidi companies are not yet initiated pack warning.
Analysis of the study was shared with media through press conference
organized on 11th August, 2009
